Review Channeler for a chance to win... nothing!

Revised edition

Weird Science Fiction/Horror

Sarah and Dave own a quaint bookshop in the small town of Boulderdale, nested among the redwood trees of the Santa Cruz mountains.

The day was unnaturally dark and stormy. A frighteningly mysterious man asked Sarah if he could post an ad in the store for a metaphysical channeling session to be held here in town.

Soon after this encounter, the couple's world is warped by insane energies and bizarre creatures. Inter-dimensional fallout heralds the arrival of dark forces. The specter of cosmic insanity looms larger by the hour.

Harry Kane's Review of The Fringe-Matrix-Capacitor

This is a link to the blog of the master author, Harry Kane . He generously wrote a review of  The Fringe-Matrix-Capacitor

Harry is the author of the truly amazing and unique Badass Bible. Here is the link:

I love this work. I've never read anything  like it. Read the reviews on Amazon and you'll get a feel for Harry's unique genius.

I am currently reading his book Shudder. Why isn't this book on the New York Times bestseller list? Every element of a bestselling  fiction/crime/sex/detective novel - written with  a high degree of insight and intelligence - are within its pages. Here is a link to this fascinating read:

Books with that stupid male model with the 6 pack abs

If I see one more book with a set of male abs on the cover I'm going to puke. Is anyone as sick of that image as I am?

Oh. Wait. I wrote a book featuring a male's 6 pack of abs on the cover. The book is called "Galactic Abs".

Abs are the answer to everything. Right?

The Effects of Instantaneous Space Travel...

Stories spanning centuries of time - from the present to a stupefying future - these are the bizarro sci fi chronicles of instantaneous space travel.

- End of Space
Fringe Traveler Incorporated is a small, decaying factory on the verge of bankruptcy. They make sensory deprivation tanks, a once trendy fad fast fading into obscurity. The owner, Garrett, discovers his hidden genius and builds a vehicle that can journey to the end of space - traveling faster and farther than anything before - by being absolutely motionless.

What exists beyond space? This novella blends hard science fiction with cosmological, spiritual and philosophical speculation, questioning the very nature of reality in a search for ultimate answers.

- Atom Malfunction
Samuel is a dishwasher at Gordo's Tacos. He builds a homemade spaceship in his carport using a fringe-matrix-capacitor motor bought from his somewhat shady workmate, Jose.

The spaceship works but Sam ends up crashing on a pleasant Caribbean style beach on a planet three parsecs from earth. Strangely, he finds Jose's decapitated body on the beach and Sam is mistakenly arrested for murder.

Unknown to earth, a human colony already exists on this planet, SCB1, where very odd things are going on. There is much more than a murder charge for Sam to deal with on this world that suffers from a severe reality handicap.

- Galaxy Riff
The Homeland Universe has been thoroughly explored. Humans comfortably populate many worlds. Celeste, a hotshot speedglobe pilot, takes on tough assignments but her favorite is a routine pickup and delivery to Panopsha, a southern fringe planet where her friend Sam has a chicken farm... except they're not really chickens and they don't really lay eggs.

An eruption from the neighboring forbidden universe enters Homeland space, disrupting reality and threatening to destroy Panopsha. Humanity rallies to save itself from being engulfed in chaos. Is it too late?

- Brahman Land
In the distant future the Fringe-Matrix-Capacitor technology has spawned the Galactic Gospel - the reality of the Absolute beyond space. An enthusiastic group of evangelistic believers travel the Homeland Universe spreading the word.

An airless planet of non-breathers is discovered. A missionary team is sent from Earth to share the Galactic Gospel, but the project runs into a snag. The non-breathers have a few surprises in store for their evangelistic alien visitors.

Is 'The Teddy Bear Singularity' the best book ever written?

From Opinion Press Blog

Is “The Teddy Bear Singularity” the Best Book Ever Written?

   It must be.
The Teddy Bear Singularity is an eBook available only on the Kindle. What is so interesting about the book is the emotional response it invokes in some folks. One lady, in reviewing the book, said she wishes she could give it a negative 5 stars. Interesting. Interesting because she took so much time with the ebook. She wrote reviews and scattered them across the internet bad-mouthing the book. I wonder what upset her so much about it? How could this novella of approximately 17,500 words cause such a reaction? It is as if she went on a personal crusade to stop others from reading the book - made it her project to save the world from reading The Teddy Bear Singularity. Here is a quote from this woman after she was asked why she listed spoilers:
“Here’s the thing, because I really shouldn’t have blamed it just on the length: usually I follow that rule. I always try not to give away anything; usually I’ll even say “that’s about all I can say without giving away anything” BUT this review was the exception to that. The book was so horrid, that I figured anything I could write would only further warn people to stay away from it so they weren’t left with the same icky, gross, disgusted, confused feeling I was at the end. ”
I realize she meant to say “… warn people to stay away from it so they weren’t left with the same icky, gross, disgusted, confused feeling I had after finishing it.”  She did not mean to say the book had transformed her into an icky, gross, disgusted, confused feeling…  she remains a human being.
So, is The Teddy Bear Singularity the best book in the world? I can’t answer that, but I will give it a 5 star review for so profoundly influencing a  human being  to go on a verbal rampage to vent her disgust. I find it interesting that she got the book for free, read the whole thing, wrote a long review and then posted it in various places on the internet.
For heaven’s sake, it was free! The author is struggling to get the book noticed! I ask what motivates a person to develop such a personal vendetta for a free ebook by a struggling author?
Weird.
